WHERE WE FISH

 

We moved from Darwin to Hervey Bay in early 2016. Despite a road trip of ~3300km and going from a hot tropical climate to sub-tropical, there are similarities between the fishing, with trips in the boat of over 100km a feature of both spots. Pelagic fish are a highlight of both waterways, so we again look forward to targeting Tuna, Mackerel, Queenfish and Trevally amongst other species. Within the Darwin and Top End region, the mighty Barramundi is an iconic fish, so it's good to know that there are a few around Hervey Bay waters.                       for more info on the awesome fishing of Hervey Bay.
