CULVERT BARRA

I caught my first barra at this culvert, not far from my house. It's amazing how this area is dry for most of the year but when it rains enough to fill up Girraween Lagoon, the excess water flow into the Howard river via this culvert, connecting with the freshwater and allowing Barra to swim upstream. It's a fun way to fish and great place to work on my casting skills.
